School formal car hire in Melbourne, from enquiry to the night

Send the reserve form with the date, the pickup address, the number of passengers and the venue. Ten Stars Cars replies to confirm availability and the exact price, usually the same day. Last minute bookings are best made on WhatsApp, and the business is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

A 50% deposit holds the date, and the balance is paid in the week of the formal. Payment is by card, cash or bank transfer, with no surcharge. Families can arrange a time to view the car before booking, and a deposit may be required. Tell us about extra stops, such as a second pickup address, and the timing is planned with you.

Where the formal cars have been

Our cars have been driven to Crown Melbourne, Leonda by the Yarra, The Langham Hotel, Metropolis Events, Ultima Function Centre and Sheldon Receptions. Standard rates cover Melbourne Metro, and travel charges may apply for a venue outside metro, confirmed before you book.

A few practical points for parents. Tolls and parking are included, and the chauffeurs are professionally dressed. You are welcome to add your own decorations, so tell us what you have in mind when you book. The car and chauffeur are yours for the hours you book, so tell us if you also want a pickup after the formal.

How booking works

  1. Send the Reserve form, message us on WhatsApp or call 0478 889 116. Last minute bookings are best made on WhatsApp.
  2. We confirm availability and send you an exact price. An enquiry is not a booking until it is confirmed.
  3. A 50% deposit secures your date. The balance is paid in the week of the booking, by card, cash or bank transfer with no surcharge.
  4. If you need to cancel, the fee per car is $250 with more than 7 days notice. Within 1 to 7 days it is $500, and on the day or for a no show it is the full deposit.
  5. A 25% surcharge applies on Victorian public holidays and to night transfers, with pickups between 11pm and 5am.
